Catherine B. Stevenson, 89, of Lake City, MI, and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She was born February 23, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland. She married Ray B. Stevenson on April 21, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2006. She retired from the former Villa North Nursing Home in Toledo after 25 years of service, where she met numerous life-long friends. Catherine was a member of the former Temperance Free Methodist Church (Cross Roads Community). She was an accomplished seamstress. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Catherine will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Judy (Michael) Brooks, Patricia Bennett, and Cathy (David) Grabowski; step-daughter, Geri Nichols; grandchildren, Dennis and Jason Brooks, Katelyn (Thomas) Decker, Mindy (Mike) Judson and Robert Grabowski; Deborah (Michael) Pawlak, David (Susan) Nichols and Christina (Matthew) Guiberson and 18 great grandchildren.
